I am taking this opportunity to give my personal recommendation of Mrs. Jamie Chenault. While at Nelson County Schools, Mrs. Chenault became an integral member of our team. It is with pleasure and pride that I write this letter on her behalf.

Mrs. Chenault joined the Nelson County Team in 2017. She brought a wealth of knowledge in technology and all things Google, along with a positive attitude and a passion for teaching. Mrs. Chenault helped initiate our district’s transition to Google and Gmail, helped launch our 1:1 chromebook initiative,  and has trained adults as well as students in their Google certifications. Mrs. Chenault exudes patience with the most novice of learners while managing to engage the distinguished learner. I have seen first hand the positive impact she has on those around her.

Mrs. Chenault has an unquenchable thirst for lifelong learning and teaching. She consistently offers professional development opportunities in our district, makes herself accessible, and always thinks outside the box. She is amazingly gifted at sparking curiosity among her students and peers. Mrs. Chenault has established great rapport with students, colleagues, and parents. Students literally cheer when Mrs. Chenault enters a room!
